Short Description
The Job Role Application Engineering Supervisior leads a team of Application Engineers. The Job Role is the customers technical contact person and reports to the Application Engineering Manager.
Job Responsibility
- Professional and disciplinary management as well as coordination and organization of a group of application engineers
- Responsibility for developing and maintaining customer relationships with the technical departments (national and international)
- Ensuring the technical feasibility, including conformity with standards, of customer enquiries
- Technical interface between the company and the customer, representing the customer's specific interests within the company and to the MD Headquarter
- Analyze market potential for MD in-house components and position these components with customers (requesting for approval)

Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of wire harness and PCB design, signal integrity, and electrical interface standards.
- Experience in technical project management.
- Good organizational and conflict management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in 2D drawing using AutoCAD.
- Preferably, experience in an OEM environment in the design and release of high-speed communication cables or wire harnesses.
- Preferably, experience in 3D drawing using CATIA.
