Short Description

The position holder will manage the logistics team with the aim of meeting both internal and external customer needs as well as complying with legal requirements. Furthermore, the core tasks include continuous process improvements and strategic alignment. 

Job Responsibility

  • Responsibility for monitoring and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in logistics and to ensure to acheive the targets 
  • Continues improving of logistics processes and material flow planning
  • Ensure compliance with the defined logistics processes
  • Ensure the compliance with all customs, export control and other legal requirements
  • Initiating and participating in improvement projects (logistics projects or interdisciplinary projects)
  • Identify, define and implement cost-saving potentials for the company
  • Implementation of an integrated system for quality, environment, health and safety management in accordance with applicable standards
  • Ensuring correct storage conditions for materials and inventory accuracy and responsible for the annual physical stocktaking
  • Regular exchange and reporting to HQ to ensure process conformity, initiate improvements and address risks at an early stage
  • Budget planning for both cost centres and investments
  • Selection and development of employees, including the identification of job requirements

Qualification & Work Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
8 - 10 years of work experience in relevant area

Skills

  • Knowledge in Logistics processes and equipment
  • Knowledge in Transport management (Tender Management, Transport Modes, Tradelines)
  • Knowledge in Customs Management (Import & Export, preferential origin, authorization, etc.)
  • Knowledge in Export control compliance
  • Knowledge in Material flow & Layout planning
  • MS Office
  • SAP
  • Fluent English
