Your role

 

In your role of an Accountant, you will take care of day-to-day postings in a duly manner with high focus on business accuracy and timing. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Ensures that financial transactions are accurately completed, recorded and documented on a daily basis in compliance with the national legislation and the Company’s group accounting policies
  • Responsible for accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition, as well as Inter-Company billing and accounting
  • Reconciliation and valuation of manufacturing inventory as well as finished goods inventory
  • Interact with order handlers to solve differences between PO and invoice
  • Review all records and reconcile accounts and prepare bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly VAT, VIES, INTRASTAT and BNB declarations
  • Process documents for VAT Return
  • Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
  • Assisting in Month-end and Year-end closing
  • Assisting in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements under National Accounting Standards
  • Support external/internal audit process
  • Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives

Qualifications and skills:

 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous experience on a similar position in Accounting
  • Previous experience with ERP system (advantage)
  • Very good MS Office skills, advanced Excel skills would be considered an advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Hand-on experience with month-end/ year-end closing procedures
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and highly developed problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Ability to operate successfully under pressure
